Hiverge announces that it is working with NVIDIA, Quantinuum, and AWS, three of the world's leading technology companies, to enable breakthrough innovation at the intersection of AI and quantum computing. This is a testament to Hiverge's approach to algorithmic discovery, and the importance of its platform to enable cutting-edge computation.

One of the most promising application areas of quantum computing is to solve hard optimization problems, which can arise across virtually every domain — engineering, logistics, finance, machine learning, and scientific research. However, designing quantum algorithms is notoriously difficult, due to the powerful but unintuitive properties of quantum physics, such as entanglement and superposition. This collaboration aims to develop new quantum algorithms for combinatorial optimization, via Hiverge's flagship platform, the Hive. Quantum experts from Quantinuum use the Hive to search for algorithms that surpass the current state-of-the-art. The algorithms are written in a human-readable programming language like NVIDIA CUDA-Q, the platform for hybrid quantum-classical computing, or Guppy, Quantinuum's quantum programming language. They are simulated on powerful NVIDIA GPUs running on AWS before they are validated on Quantinuum's quantum hardware.

This collaboration advances Hiverge's mission to accelerate computation through AI-guided algorithmic discovery. As quantum hardware is set to become an important pillar of computing infrastructure, we are thrilled to empower quantum researchers with the Hive to accelerate discovery and bring practical quantum computing closer to reality.
